OVERSEAS ORANGE ARMY

Today sees the beginning of the preseason with the much awaited first appearence of Quaterback Payton Manning. What has come apparent over the last few days is that he won't be taking the spotlight in today's game (or very late tonight's game for some!). Some of the players lower down in the pecking order will be getting some serious game time throughout the preseason with QB Caleb Hanie listed as Manning's backup, rookie Brock Osweiler at No. 3 and Adam Weber at No. 4. However with Manning being without any game time for 557 days I think it's vital he gets some match practice before the big opener against the Steelers.

Todays injury list is as follows: defensive tackle Justin Bannan (calf), safety Quinton Carter (knee/hamstring), receiver Tyler Grisham (knee) and receiver Greg Orton (ankle). Also out are the two new signings Keith Brooking and Jim Leonhard as they are yet to train.
